Boy Scout Troop 577 sponsored by Venture Christian is bring back it’s annual Christmas Tree Fundraiser. This is our main fundraiser for our 2011 activities.
The Troop will go up to a local Santa Cruz Mtn Tree farm, and cut the trees down on Friday Dec 3rd. We will be Selling the Trees on Saturday Dec 4th from 7:30AM to 4:00PM in the Lower Church Parking Lot. All the trees are Douglas Firs ranging from 6 to 12 feet, and these will be the freshest tree you can buy unless you cut it down yourself.
To help us know how many trees to cut down, please order yours today. PLEASE CLICK HERE TO ORDER All Trees are $55.00 and Tree sizes will be between 6 to 12 feet. The Troop will take care to select healthy full trees.
The Troop will have a number of trees available on Saturday for those that don’t order ahead, so come early to get yours. Please visit the link above to find out if you qualify for Free Delivery. All purchases are Tax Deductible as the Scouts are a non-profit and covered under the church.

The proceeds from this fundraiser will help the Troop grow and purchase the necessary patrol gear, sponsor and conduct services projects such as the Salvation Army’s Redwood Glen Camp, provide quality programming enabling scouts to advance in rank, and help provide scholarships to those families who have been hit by the economy send their scout to camp. Additionally, our Troop as a active Christian Troop provides Bibles to scouts and a portion of this fundraiser will go to buy Bibles.
