Established: April 1974
History: Boy Scout Troop 577 was first chartered by LGCC in 1974. The founding leaders were Milton Davis, Alan Engle, Ward Gross, Joe McCurry, and Ralph Martin. From the initial registration of 11 boys, the number increased to 45 boys by the end of 1976. The troop has been active in Scouting events and service projects affecting the church and community.
